Space Invaders is a simple game from the late 70's. Many of us remember pumping quarters into the machine, or playing it on the 2600. Here is a Space Invaders flash game clone to enjoy at home or work (turn down the volume, don't let the boss see) right in your browser.
You control the green blob at the bottom of the screen. Don't underestimate it, that green blob is humanities last hope against the Space Invaders.
The goal is a simple one, kill the invading space aliens. They do shoot back so watch out.
In this game, the best strategy is to kill the Space Invaders as quickly as possible. As time goes on they advance downwards, and they more of them you
shoot, the faster they move. When you've got them down to just a few they will be moving fast so you want them to be as high up as possible to give you
more space to shoot them.
As the Invaders advance they will move faster and shoot at you more. Remember to lead them, as in shoot where they will be instead of where the are.
